Homemade Playdough!

This is a recipe that I used to make when I was a kid. When we had a playdate a few weeks ago I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to make this again! The two 5 year old girls thought it was the coolest thing! Additionally, you probably have all of the ingredients on hand except for the cream of tartar!

Here's what you need:

1 cup flour

1 cup of boiling water

2 tbs cream of tartar

1/2 cup of salt

1 tbs vegetable oil

food coloring

Here's what to do:

Mix all ingredients together! We used a stand mixer with the dough hook but you can use whatever you like! Its that easy! Of course, we made pink and it inspired creative little minds to think about mixing different colors together to make new ones! Store in an airtight container. Ours has been well loved for about a month and a half and is still in good condition!
